V Swenaku se bo znova združila slovensko-italijanska naveza, tokrat skupine Hellmetall, Okl’s Fruitloops in Sovrag. Po kratkem premoru bomo spet deležni mešanice melodičnega death metala in thrasha!!

HellMetAll:

HellMetAll was born as a real band in 2011 thanks to the passion of Gamba (Gabriele Barbarino) on drums and Picet (Daniele Micelli) on guitar. They initially composed folk thrash metal songs sung in German and English before settling entirely in the Resian dialect, derived from the Old Slavic spoken in their homeland in the most northeastern part of Italy, in Val Resia. Why folk metal? Simply because in addition to the mainly thrash sound they have added the violin, a typical instrument of the Resian tradition. The band’s lyrics are based on world wars and European military history. In their career they recorded a demo (J.S.K.D) in 2012 with 5 unreleased tracks while in 2014 they came out under the record label with their first album “sa našo semjo” which in their language means “for our land”. They can also boast of organizing since 2013 the underground extreme metal festival called eResia metalfest.

After several line up changes the HellMetAll genre has shifted to much more bad tones so we are on Thrash / death metal which they define as “thrash / army metal”.

Okl’s Fruitloops:

Okl’s FruitLoops is a melodic death metal band from Slovenia, founded in 2021 by singer/rhythm guitarist Matej Okleščen in Novo mesto, Slovenia.

In 2022, Matija Buh (guitarist), Dejan Pakiž (Keytar) and Tilen Pšeničnik on drums joined the band, completing the band and kicking things into high gear.

Soon Iztok Šali joined the band as bass guitarist and the band was assembled.

Sovrag:

Sovrag was born in 2018 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Their first EP Tribute to Death was released in 2021, their first studio album entitled Perfect Form From Chaos Born was released in 2023. It is impossible to feed both wolves of human nature, on one side the aggressive and violent evil beast and on the the other side a noble creature that longs for serenity. In a similar matter it is impossible to define the musical style of Sovrag as it ranges from double bass and blast beat explosions to melodic solos, all brought together with some tasty riffs. The style is based on the sound of 90s melodic death, black and thrash metal with zero limitations to stay within the boundaries of any mentioned genre.
